Wilfork’s agent, Kennard McGuire, has said that the familiarity between the two makes Houston an appealing place to the big defensive lineman.
"“Vince has several opportunities he’s looking at,” McGuire, told Mark Berman of Houston’s Fox 26. “Obviously I’m very biased being in Houston and wanting him to be here with me. I would welcome that."
Well now according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Wilfork is in Houston visiting with the team tonight.
Wilfork is a 6’2″ and 325 pound run stuffer with surprising athleticism. His presence in the middle of the defense would open things up for everyone in the entire front seven for Houston.
Last season at 32 years of age Vince returned from a ruptured Achilles and recorded 47 tackles. He may have aged but he is still a force on the line and would be a great pick up for the Texans.
