Obviously, the biggest name on this list for Texans’ fans is Mallett. The former New England Patriots’ back-up quarterback came to the Lone Star State via a trade back in August.

Mallett was named the Texans’ starter in November but a pectoral injury shorten his season a mere 18-days later. At this point, it’s unclear if Houston will re-sign the fourth-year quarterback or pursue another player who better fit’s head coach Bill O’Brien‘s offensive scheme.

In three games with the Texans in 2014, Mallett completed 41 of his 75 passes for a total of 400 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
