Today the Houston Texans released 4th year player Ricky Sapp. Drafted by the Eagles in the 5th round of the 2010 draft Sapp has played for the Eagles for a year or so before being picked up by the Jets. There he was on the practice squad until his release. Houston claimed him off waivers in November 2013. Sadly for Mr. Sapp his NFL career has not gone very far and here’s hoping he can find a team that he fits in on.

This opening makes room for former backup running back Ben Tate, waived by the Cleveland Browns after he had 2 carries for -9 yards. Just kidding. I don’t see the Texans needing the services of Mr. Tate, not after the performance of Alfred Blue on Sunday. Blue carried the ball 36 times, for 156 yards. That’s 164 more yards then Tate managed. Hope he too finds a team where he’s can be productive. Just… not against Houston.
