For a Houston Texans offense that had trouble with their pass protection on Thursday night against the Indianapolis Colts, the running game of Arian Foster was spot on yet again this season.
In the 33-28 loss by the Texans on Thursday night, Foster had his fourth game this season where he rushed for at least 100 yards, finishing with 109 yards on 20 carries.
Foster scored two touchdowns, with his longest rush of the game going for 34 yards. His touchdown runs went for 12 yards and 2 yards in the second and third quarters.
This season, in five games played, Foster has a total of 513 yards on 106 carries. Foster’s 100-yard rushing games came against the Washington Redskins (103 yards), Oakland Raiders (138 yards), Dallas Cowboys (157 yards) and the 109 yards against the Colts.

The Texans are 2-2 the four times he’s rushed for 100 or more yards. He missed Week 3 against the New York Giants, and against the Buffalo Bills he was held to six yards on eight carries.
Again, Foster kept the Texans offense going in a game the offensive line didn’t have their best pass protection. He made plays and did all he could, but in the end the Texans were just unable to gain a win, falling to 3-3 on the season.
