This Sunday is the battle of Texas with the Houston Texans visiting AT&T Stadium for a game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Both teams are entering the game at 3-1 overall.

This week, we spoke with The Landry Hat editor Steven Mullenax, the FanSided site about the Dallas Cowboys.

Here are his responses to the 5 questions asked. Read more from The Landry Hat at thelandryhat.com.

1. With the Cowboys getting off to a 3-1 start, what do you credit as being the biggest reason for that start?

SM: The Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line. With the Cowboys committing three first-round picks in the last four years to the O-line, this group is now starting to pay big dividends.

Their stellar play has made DeMarco Murray the NFL’s leading rusher. In turn, it’s taken the pressure off of both quarterback Tony Romo and this Dallas defense. Without the play of the offensive line, none of this is possible.

2. What player besides J.J. Watt must the Cowboys stop on the Texans to make it a successful day?

SM: Ryan Fitzpatrick. Watching the bearded one this season, Fitzpatrick can be lethally accurate if given enough time. And that’s the key. The Cowboys must get pressure on the Texan’s starting quarterback to force turnovers.

To me, it appears even the small amount of pressure rattles Fitzpatrick. But pass rush has been Dallas’ biggest obstacle.
