Report: Shiloh Keo released by the Houston Texans

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle has confirmed that the Houston Texans have released safety Shiloh Keo for their roster on Tuesday.

Taking the spot of Keo is Josh Aubrey.

As for Keo, he was a fifth round selection by the Texans in 2011 (144th overall) out of Idaho.

Last season, Keo has 63 combined tackles and one interception.

The 5-11, 208 pound Keo has yet to play in a game this season for the Texans due to injury. For his career he has 80 career combined tackles and two interceptions.

As for Aubrey, he has yet to play in the NFL during the regular season. He played college football at Stephen F. Austin St.

The Texans enter Week 5 with a 3-1 overall record and are set to face in-state rival, the Dallas Cowboys who are also 3-1 overall this season. Houston has defeated the Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills in 2014. The lone loss for the Texans came in Week 3 against the New York Giants.

Dallas has wins against the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams and the New Orleans Saints. The Cowboys have won their past three games entering Week 5.
