It is official … Arian Foster of the Houston Texans, the second leading rusher in the NFL has been ruled out for the Week 3 game against the New York Giants today.
Foster is ruled out with a hamstring injury. He tested the injury on the field before the game with medical personnel.
The All-Pro running back missed eight games last season with a back injury, plus had hamstring issues a year ago as well.
Replacing Foster in the starting lineup will be rookie Alfred Blue. Also on the RB roster are Jonathan Grimes and Ronnie Brown.
This season Foster has rushed for 241 yards combined in the first two games on 55 carries and has one touchdown.

As I said earlier, I still believe the Texans can win this game, but it will come down to the play of the defense of the Texans, plus the passing abilities of QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.
I expect DeAndre Hopkins and Andre Johnson to have very solid days for the Texans.
