The Week 2 NFL betting lines were released with the Houston Texans being a three-point favorite over the Oakland Raiders for this upcoming Sunday in Oakland.

The Texans are a -3 against the Raiders as of Monday evening by the folks at bovada.lv.

This past weekend the Texans went 1-0 by defeating the Washington Redskins, 17-6 in Houston.

One plus from that game was the play of defensive end J.J. Watt, but the bigger negative was No. 1 overall selection Jadeveon Clowney (OLB) was injured and has since had knee surgery for a torn meniscus on his right knee.

Clowney is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. Watt had three tackles, five QB hits and one sack.

Houston’s defense allowed just one touchdown, forced two turnovers and gave up a total of 372 yards. The Texans offense totaled 312 yards in the win, with Arian Foster rushing for 103 yards on 27 carries.

As for the Raiders, they lost 19-14 to the New York Jets on the road to open the ’14 season.

In that game Raiders rookie quarterback Derek Carr was 20-of-32 for 151 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Carr was sacked twice and averaged 4.7 yards per competition.

The Raiders finished with 158 total yards of offense, while allowing the Jets to gain 402 yards.

Houston and the Raiders will kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
