Houston Texans Roundup: One last preseason game left

facebooktwitterreddit

Though on Thursday we probably won’t see much of the starters for the Houston Texans since it is the final preseason game, the game against the San Francisco 49ers still has some importance for the team.

This will most likely be the game we find out who plays their way to the backup quarterback position, and it could also be a game where we finally see Arian Foster in game action, though I would stay away fro playing him in the preseason this close to the regular season.

Also for the Texans, just like with the rest of the NFL, final roster spots will come down to how players perform in this game against the 49ers, especially for the spots on special teams, a spot on the Texans roster that could use an upgrade from last season.

The game will be played in Houston with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.

What are your thoughts headed into this final preseason game? What position battle are you keeping a close eye on? Let us know.
