Oh how I love Twitter when it comes to NFL trade rumors, but this one is catching everyone’s attention … the rumor is the Houston Texans will trade Andre Johnson to the Cleveland Browns for Brian Hoyer.

I’m not completely against a trade for the Texans to improve their QB position, but this is what it is … a rumor in the early stages of a rumor.
Even if this trade doesn’t happen, the Texans need to make some sort of change at the starting QB spot, whether it be trading for another QB or giving Case Keenum a shot … something has to change or the Texans will be in the Top 5 of the NFL Draft yet again.
In an article on FanSided.com, Dan Zinski wrote:
"“The Browns have Johnny Manziel so they don’t need Hoyer. Plus they just beefed up their QB corps by signing Rex Grossman. The Browns do need a receiver with Josh Gordon still facing a possible one-year suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.”"
If this were to happen, Hoyer would be an improvement at the starting QB spot, but the Texans would take a huge hit on the wide receiver part of their lineup as Johnson is a future Hall of Famer.
In another article on FanSided.com, it said in a re-tweet:
"“@CowboysNation Pettine said rumors out there about #browns maybe wanting to trade Brian Hoyer “are just stories.” Said tues “absolutely not”"
What are your thoughts on this possible trade scenario or just on the Texans needing to make a change at the starting QB spot?
Ryan Fitzpatrick proved in the first week of the preseason he’s not improved his overall game.
