Since the Houston Texans are on a break with on-the-field practices until training camp begins in late July, backup quarterback Case Keenum needs to find someone to play catch with right? Who better than Andre Johnson?

In an article by CSN Houston’s Dave Zangaro, he quoted Keenum saying the following about the prospect of throwing to Johnson while the Texans are on their final break of the summer:

"“Yeah, I might … He’s a heckuva player and it’s definitely an honor to step on the field with him. It makes me bring my game up. It makes me want to improve myself and do what I do better.”"

For the sake of the Texans, maybe Keenum is the guy who can get Johnson to return to what will be a season of unknown if he’s on the roster, but will most likely be another losing year if he decides he doesn’t want to be apart of another rebuilding effort with the franchise.

I still believe Johnson will end up on another team, just for the simple fact he’s running out of NFL years, and he should be on a contender, rather than a rebuilding team.

My preference is seeing him in a Texans jersey, because it would be weird to see him playing elsewhere. (I’m still getting used to Peyton Manning playing for the Denver Broncos).
