Round 3.1: Our next quarterback is REALLY gonna be safe. A monster Tight End is now joining the Texans, and keeping with tonight’s trend of hard to spell names… C.J. Fiedorowicz TE from Iowa. He has the ability to catch the ball, to pass block and block on the run. We knew that the Texans would be looking to fill out the TE slot, but before picking a quarterback is a bit of a surprise.  I’ll panic when the 6th round starts and we’re still without a drafted quarterback.  No, I take that back, OB1 and Rick Smith have a plan, we gotta let them run with it… whatever it is.

This draft for the Texans is giving us a real insight into what the new Texans coaching regime has in mind for the foreseeable future. Protection for our QB while making sure yours is running for his life.  Shame we have no idea what that means in terms of who is going to be under center yet, but there you go. Will they trade back into the third round? Kind of thinking that tomorrow is the day we learn who the Texans have been eyeballing.
