This game will be interesting because the Texans need to exact some revenge against one of the teams who defeated them last season.
Oh, by the way, the Texans will be facing their former quarterback Matt Schaub, whom they traded to the Raiders during the offseason for a sixth-round pick.
Schaub’s final season with the Texans was forgettable, as in eight games as the starter he finished 2-6, being benched mid-season for Case Keenum.
Right now, the current QBs for the Texans are Ryan Fitzpatrick, Keenum and T.J. Yates, as the signing of Fitzpatrick led to the trade of Schaub.
It was a good move for both teams, but it will be weird seeing Schaub facing the Texans, and even though the Raiders also made some other veteran signings, including Maurice Jones-Drew, this game belongs to the Texans. The Raiders also signed James Jones at wide receiver.
