It is always fun to make predictions. Everyone likes to predict things, especially in sports.

The 2014 Houston Texans schedule is one of many things I’ll have predicted, as the schedule was released this past Wednesday.

This is the first of a four-part series of predicting the season, with four games predicted each day, then a review of all the picks at the end of the week.

I believe the Texans have an easier schedule than they did last season, a season where they finished 2-14 overall. A season where they fired their head coach in the now former Texans head coach Gary Kubiak. A season where nothing went their way from Week 3 on.

With all of the said, 2014 is new, and in the NFL, teams can make a big leap and even make the playoffs following a year after two wins, as the Kansas City Chiefs were proof of that in 2013.

The Texans now have Bill O’Brien leading the way as the head coach, and Romeo Crennel now the defensive coordinator for the Texans.

As we get closer to the draft, and with all of us still being excited following the release of the schedule, here are my pre-draft week-by-week predictions for the 2014 Houston Texans.

After the draft, and following training camp (before the start of the season) we can take a look at this list again and maybe make some changes. Remember, all of these predictions are pre-draft.
