NFL.com reported that Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has been medically cleared by doctors.

Here is the tweet by Foster as he’s the one who began this conversation:

He never really says how medically cleared he is by doctors or what he is cleared to do on the football field, but it will be good for the Texans to have a healthy Foster for the offseason. Hopefully Foster is healthy for the start of the regular season barring any setbacks in the next few months.

Saturday was also Foster’s return to Twitter after an entire year away from the social media app, answering questions from his followers.

In seven games last season Foster had 121 carries for 542 yards and one touchdown as he missed the second half of the season with his back injury. In the preseason he had problems with his hamstring that cost him some time, as he missed preseason games as well.

The Texans really need Foster to stay healthy as they just lost Ben Tate in free agency as he signed a two-year, $7 million deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Other running backs currently on the roster for the Texans are Ray Graham, Jonathan Grimes, Dennis Johnson, Toben Opurum and Chad Spann,

I have a feeling the Texans will be looking somewhere in the draft for some more help at running back, because lets face the facts, besides Foster the Texans have a lot of unknown at the running back position.
