Round 2
No. 33
Zach Mettenberger
Quarterback
LSU
Zach Mettenberger did tear his ACL this season, but if he’s available in the second round, and if the Texans don’t take a QB in the first round, he might just be the guy they are looking for.
NFL.com reported on Feb. 12 about the LSU QB:
"“Mettenberger (6-foot-5, 230 pounds) threw for 3,082 yards, 22 touchdowns and had eight interceptions before tearing the ACL in his left knee in the regular-season finale against Arkansas. (Cam) Cameron is a big fan of Mettenberger despite the quarterback’s perceived lack of mobility.”"
