For this week I wanted to change some things around and give the seven round Houston Texans mock draft just a little bit of a different feel and look.

Last week I had South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney as the Texans’ No. 1 overall selection, but that isn’t the case this time.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Clowney and it is a possibility he could be back in my top spot in the future, but this week I just didn’t have that feeling. Plus, I really believe the Texans should get their QB early and make sure they have the right player they think can lead the franchise back to the postseason.

With that said, here is my shot at trying to predict the Texans’ draft for this week.
