Player: Logan Thomas
School: Virginia Tech
Height: 6-6
Weight: 254 pounds
Draft Projection: 7th round/Undrafted Free Agent

CBS has Thomas as the 13th-rated QB in the QB rankings for the 2014 NFL Draft and the 258th overall rated player.

Thomas has been timed with a 4.67 40-yard dash.

In some more recent news on the QB, CBS Sports wrote:

"“Thomas is the most physically gifted quarterback, not only in Mobile this week, but in the entire class with his tall, well-proportioned frame and big arm to toss the ball anywhere he wants on the field. But touch continues to be an issue with him. During Tuesday’s practice, Thomas would throw a perfect laser that hit his intended targets between the numbers, but then would follow it up with an overthrow that sailed well over the receiver’s head.”"

Seems like Thomas has all the tools for an NFL QB, but the inconsistency has dropped him to the seventh round projections. Maybe a team will draft him in the final round as a project of sorts. With his size and weight, it will be tough for Thomas to go undrafted this May.
