The breakout player will be …

This is a tough prediction because there are so many great players in this game, but the player I think will take over this game (except for Lynch) is Earl Thomas of the Seahawks.

His defense will be key. We know what Richard Sherman brings, so if the 49ers are smart and stay away from him, the play of Thomas will be even more improtant than ever.

Thomas’ play last week saw him combine for 11 tackles (seven unassisted). I just think if Thomas plays well, they will be able to fend off the 49ers offense.
