Friday has finally arrived, meaning the weekend is here!

For the NFL that means it is “Championship Weekend,” and for the Houston Texans it means it was another week of speculation as to who they will draft this May with the No. 1 overall selection.

Our friends at House of Houston posted an article titled, “Wanted: 2014 Houston Texans Quarterback,” were they try to decide what the Texans should do with the No. 1 overall selection.

It says in the the article:

"“There seems to be three popular options with what the Texans should do with the #1 overall pick: 1) Draft a quarterback, 2) Draft Jadeveon Clowney or 3) Trade down and acquire a number of draft picks for this draft and future drafts.”"

I like options one or two in that case. They both are good options, but each have their own risks.

Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com wrote about what went wrong with the outside linebackers this past season for the Texans.

She says:

"“In Mercilus’s case, that could be a coaching issue. He’s only entering his third year in the league, and he’ll have a new position coach in Mike Vrabel this season. The edge rush is something the Texans could look to repair in the draft.”"

As for the latest on the Arian Foster lawsuit the Houston Chronicle’s Ultimate Texans blog wrote:

"“It was strictly coincidence, producers say, that TMZSports.com reported the Arian Foster paternity scandal Monday, the day the TV show launched on seven Fox Broadcasting stations, including KRIV (Ch. 26).”"

Again, I feel for the unborn child in this entire situation. I really hope these adults come to their senses and realize now the No. 1 priority is the child.
