Zach Mettenberger, LSU

He has the height of a QB that would fit in a Bill O’Brien system as he’s 6-5, 235 pounds and he’s mostly a pocket QB, as he’s not known to make plays with his feet.

In just reading about Mettenberger, he seems to be a possibility for a O’Brien type QB as his strengths according to Rob Rang are:

"“Possesses a prototypical frame and arm for the position. Has shown steady improvement in reading defenses throughout his time at LSU … He can drive the ball to the opposite hash, loft the ball over the seam or to the back in the flat and hit receivers streaking down the sideline.”"

One problem for Mettenberger is he can’t escape pressure and with the current Texans offensive line he better learn how to get out of the way of pressure if he were to become the next Texans QB.
