Yates was inactive for most of the season, playing in three games, with no starts. The third string QB was 15-of-22 for 113 yards with no touchdowns and a completion percentage of 68.2. He had two interceptions.

That playoff victory in 2011 seems like years ago.

He didn’t get to do much this season ,and I don’t see him returning with the Texans in 2014 as a reserve QB. He’ll probably rebound with another team next season.

Best Moment: Replacing Schaub against the St. Louis Rams, where he was 12-of-17 for 98 yards.

Worst Moment: Throwing two interceptions in the same game against the Rams. He was also inactive for most of the second half of the season once Keenum became the full-time starter at QB.
