Besides what we just saw over the past weekend in the Wild Card round of the NFL Postseason there is still plenty of news for the Houston Texans.

In the daily Breakfast with the Bulls article on the official Texans site, they posted varying opinions and links on the hiring of Bill O’Brien, writing how Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com believes O’Brien is in a great position to “mold” the next QB.

In the article by Rosenthal it states:

"“O’Brien will get to choose between players like Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles and Derek Carr.”"

I am really on the bandwagon that the Texans need to draft a QB, but the question is should they draft a QB in the first round or wait? It will be interesting.

Here is a farewell from former Texans interim head coach and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. Phillips tweeted:

"“Thanks to McNair family and great Texan fans and most all our players. It was wonderful being home. I wish the best to all”"

Here is a Texans history lesson from the Houston Chronicle and what we all should learn from it:

"“When a team is as bad as 2-14, it cannot just be a failure of coaching. Coaching certainly was a part of it but it cannot be the only thing. Particularly given that they were a decent team the previous two years and weren’t always mired in futility.”"
