J.J. Watt and Andre Johnson will represent the Houston Texans in the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl on Jan. 26, 2014.
Watt (defensive end) and Johnson (wide receiver) were selected by fans, coaches and their peers to the game.
This Pro Bowl will be a bit different this time. as there is a Pro Bowl Draft where Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will select teams.

I find this kind of exciting, as I normally wouldn’t care that much about the Pro Bowl, but now I will tune in to see the different teams. The Pro Bowl will air on NBC at 7 p.m. EDT on Jan. 26.
The Pro Bowl draft will televised on the NFL Network on Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. EDT.
If two Texans were deserving of being selected to the Pro Bowl, it is these two players. They’ve been the heart of the Texans during a season that has been one of the worst, if not the worst, in franchise history. as they have a 2-13 overall record and 13 consecutive losses.
This season, Johnson has 103 receptions for 1,358 yards and five touchdowns, as the Texans have played three different QBs this season. He’s averaging 13.2 yards per reception.
Watt has 71 tackles in 2013 with 9.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in his third NFL season. Last year, he was the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year.
Again, this new format was needed for the Pro Bowl, and maybe this will bring new life into the exhibition game.
Wouldn’t it be weird to see Watt on one team and Johnson on another? With the new format, it could happen.
Who would you cheer for? This could be a lot of fun.
