With the Houston Texans possibly looking at drafting a quarterback in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, now is a good time to start looking at some of the top prospects in the Draft, which will take place on May 8-10, 2014.

The Texans might just stick with current starting quarterback Case Keenum as their QB of the future, or they will most likely look at the draft and hopefully draft their next franchise signal caller.

Right now, it looks like Louisville junior QB Teddy Bridgewater is the frontrunner of all the QBs on the CBS 2014 Top NFL Draft Prospects, and for good reason.

With the Texans’ season all but over, let’s start looking at the Top 5 ranked QBs (as of Dec. 3, 2013), as they could be the next player drafted by the Texans.

The current Top 5 QBs on the CBS list are Bridgewater, Derek Carr (redshirt senior, Fresno State), Johnny Manziel (redshirt sophomore, Texans A&M), Brett Hundley (redshirt sophomore, UCLA) and A.J. McCarron (redshirt senior, Alabama).
