The weekend is here and that means that Week 11 for the Houston Texans has arrived with the Oakland Raiders coming to town.
On the Official Houston Texans site, Drew Daugherty writes about the “Texans’ storied past with Oakland,” saying:
"“And you certainly remember when, in 2008, the Texans started the year at 3-7, put together four straight victories and were staring down their first winning season … Houston came out flat and fell short 27-16.”"
Over at the Houston Chronicle, John McClain gave his Week 11 picks. McClain predicted the Texans will win this game by a 23-19 score.
Here are the rest of his Week 11 picks.
Also from the Houston Chronicle, Dale Robertson wrote about “Gary Kubiak back doing what he loves.”
In the article, Robertson stated:
"“His doctors and his wife had him on an extremely short leash, making sure he didn’t push too hard and wind up hospital-bound again … or worse.”"
At ESPN.com, Tania Ganguill wrote in an article with the headline, “Case Keenum expects more pressure,” about how he can grow as a quarterback.
She wrote:
"“To keep that position permanently, Keenum will need to show that he can grow from the early sparks of brightness he’s shown so far.”"
Yoni Pollak at House of Houston gave an update on the power rankings involving the Texans.
He wrote:
"“At this point it will be tough for the Texans to drop much further in the power rankings. The average rank of the Texans for these publications this week is 27.14.”"
