The NBC-hosted site, in rankings by Mike Florio, has the Texans lower than any of the sites I’ve seen at 29th overall.

Florio wrote about the Texans:

"“Seven is the number of their quarterback of the future — and of their present losing streak.”"

His No. 1 team is the Kansas City Chiefs. As for the rest of the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts were ranked sixth, the Tennessee Titans were 19th and the Jacksonville Jaguars were 32nd overall.

Do I believe the Buffalo Bills or the Oakland Raiders are better teams than the Texans? No, so it’s safe to say I don’t agree with this ranking, so to speak. If I were ranking the Texans, I would put them ahead of those two teams at 26th overall.

I guess the good thing is we’ll be able to see if the Texans are better than the Raiders this coming Sunday, as the Texans will host the three-win Raiders.
