It was another bad week for the Houston Texans on the field and in various weekly power ranking lists, as they were no higher then No. 21 and falling as low as No. 29 for the Week 11 rankings.

The Texans deserve every bit of their rankings, as they’ve lost seven straight games and can’t seem to put together a game plan in the fourth quarter that can lead to success.

This team has seemed to be hit by not just the injury bug, but by a bolt of bad luck since the start of training camp.

They are currently without their head coach Gary Kubiak, while franchise players such as Arian Foster, Owen Daniels and Brian Cushing are on the IR list. Not to forget franchise quarterback Matt Schaub was benched for his play this season. I could continue, but it is too depressing for fans who are reading this, so that’s a good stopping point.

Next the Week 11 power rankings. This week, we’ll look at power rankings from various sites to see the differences in rankings for this team.

I’m interested in how Pro Football Talk and CBS Sports have the Texans ranked so differently, as I respect the opinion of both Mike Florio and Pete Prisco. As you continue to read, you will see the difference I’m speaking about.

Now to the rankings for the 2-7 Texans.
