4. The Texans’ defense will suffer some with Wade Phillips splitting time
I don’t know how much the defense will suffer, but they have to.
Without Wade Phillips’ 100-percent complete attention to just the defense this game (he’s the interim head coach) as Gary Kubiak recovers from his mini-stroke, Phillips will be forced to share his time on all aspects of the team against the Cardinals.
Phillips will probably focus more on his defense, but not having their official head coach this week has to mess up the communication between the two sides of the ball.
