The Houston Texans lost for the third straight time this season, losing to the San Francisco 49ers, 34-3 Sunday night.
Houston is 2-3 and the preseason Super Bowl contenders should realize they have some problems on offense, one being quarterback Matt Schaub.
Schaub is staying the starting quarterback even though he was benched in the second half following his third interception, including the one that went for a touchdown. T.J. Yates does have a playoff win a couple years ago, but he’s not taking the Texans to the Super Bowl. I’m not saying Schaub will either, but he still gives them a better chance since they are just one game under the .500 mark, but honestly something needs some tweaking on the offensive side of the ball.
Where do the Texans go from here?
They have a lot of work to do, and it will be interesting to see if they have any changes with the offense this week. They have the St. Louis Rams up next.
