In the first quarter against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night on NBC, Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub broke an NFL record by throwing an interception for a touchdown for in the fourth straight game. The interception was on third play of the game (the first pass by Schaub).
Through the first quarter the 49ers looked like the more crisp team, as the Texans seemed to be unable to get anything started on the offensive side.
Schaub was already taking a lot of heat before the game for his recent play, but here are some Twitter reactions following the record-breaking pick-six.
If you're going to do something might as well be the best at it. Go Matt Schaub, record setting performance!! #PickSix #NumberOne

4 straight games with a pick six. I think for the rest of this game we'll find out the mental make up of Matt

Tony Romo is probably rushing home to watch Matt Schaub throw some more pick sixes and make himself feel better. #SNF
