One of my biggest interests with the Chargers is their running game. What are your thoughts on Ryan Mathews this preseason and how do you feel Danny Woodhead will affect the running game with his versatile style?

“Ryan Mathews has been running hard and has looked good as always. He has a better run blocking offensive line this season and he doesn’t have Norv Turner to take carries away from him. He should do well with the new coaching staff and offensive line in place.

“I think Danny Woodhead will be most effective in the passing attack and on third down. He will be that safety option for Philip Rivers and he can bust a play wide open with his ability in the open field. He will be a nice change of pace when he gets into the game.
