I asked Ernie Padaon of Bolt Beat five questions about the San Diego Chargers as they are set to host the Houston Texans Monday night. Here is his response to those questions:

Can you tell me a little about the Chargers’ new head coach Mike McCoy? How has his style of coaching compare to that of Norv Turner?

“Mike McCoy came over from Denver and has changed the culture in the San Diego locker room. The guys are motivated to play again and are excited about the new era that is starting.

“McCoy will run a different offense than Norv Turner did. Everyone in San Diego was sick of the Norv Turner act. He never was able to close out games and his offense was stale. Our offensive line wasn’t good enough for him to run seven-step drops all day, but he never adjusted his system for the roster that he had.

“We expect McCoy to make adjustments based on what he has on the roster.
