A Look Ahead at the Houston Texans Remaining Free Agents

It’s Sunday, and all things are pretty quiet after a busy week of visits and contracts on the Houston Texans front. Last week the team managed to sign three free agents and shift a total $25.75 million out to cornerback Brice McCain, free safety Ed Reed and punter Shane Lechler – making week two of market hunting a success for general manager Rick Smith.
But as we roll into Week 3 now – looking at the Texans with even smaller cap numbers to play with – there’s still a few needs on the team that Smith could take a look at prior to the draft. As far as the Texans’ own remaining free agents go though, here’s where we’re at in terms of who is signed and unsigned:
