The Texans Caught Off Balance

At halftime of the Texans-Jaguars game, I’m a bit confused as to what I’m watching. They don’t wan’t to run the ball, they can’t pass the ball, their defense is still giving up monstrous numbers, and they continue to make stupid mistakes all over the field.

After having a relatively balanced first offensive drive, the Texans followed that up with a group of passing dominant possessions that seems to indicate that they were trying to come back in the 4th quarter. Thing is, they weren’t even halfway through the 2nd quarter.

If the Texans wanted to establish a good running game, it may be too late now. The Jaguars know exactly what this offense is trying to do, and they’re doing a great job at stopping them. So guess what Kubiak, the Jaguars know what’s coming.

I still have faith that the Texans can make some good adjustments before coming out for the 2nd half, but they still have a lot to overcome., including a two touchdown deficit. At least they get the ball back at the half.
