The following players have been signed to the Texans practice squad.
RB Chris Ogbonnaya – A system running back that knows where the hole is. Makes great cuts to get down field.
WR Bobby Williams – Williams has shown his potential this offseason, but fell short of the roster due to final roster sizes.
DT Malcolm Sheppard – A surprise in Texans camps, Sheppard will have a shot to develop and get another shot in the future with the team.
OL Brett Helms – Not too much is known about Helms. He will be an prototypical player to be molded into a zone blocking C/G.
OL Cole Pemberton – A player that has shown potential, but will need time to develop. Could be a good backup if he progresses.
LB Isaiah Greenhouse – Has done well in practice. Didn’t see too much playing time in the preseason, but did show solid potential.
S Torri Williams – A bigger safety with a good amount of potential. He could end up pushing Barber for a backup role in the future.
