Houston Gets Crushed By Tennessee 31-12

It seem that everything that could go wrong went wrong for the Houston Texans in Tennessee. Protecting the ball was something that I knew we would need to do if we wanted to win and we did not do that. Matt Schaub could not really get going again and throwing three interceptions sure did not help his cause either. Toss in being sacked three times and it was a very long day for Schaub. Defensively the Texans really did not have much of a chance. When your offense turns the ball over that really puts you in a bad spot and your forced to take chances and Kerry Collins made us pay for it.
Houston was inside the Titans 14 yard line six times, but could only come away with 12 points. That is just horrible. Red zone and third down conversions just killed the Texans and that is a good reason they are 0-2 and looking at a tough Jacksonville Jaguar team next week.
Steve Slaton had a good game and rushed for over 100 yards which really was the only bright spot for the Texans all day long. The mistakes that the Texans made can be corrected, but they are running out of time. If they lose to the Jaguars thy fall 0-3 and that is a very deep hole to get out of. The botom line is the Texans need to play better and quit turning the ball over if they want to win.
