The Houston Texans clearly love quarterback Deshaun Watson.
The Texans long wait for a franchise quarterback could finally be over.
Houston truly made a huge move by trading up for the 12th overall pick to draft Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.
It sounds like Texans’ general manager Rick Smith got the guy he wanted in Watson.
Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien raved about Watson.
Of course O’Brien was asked about Tom Savage since he’s expected to be Houston’s starter ins 2017.

Yes Savage is the starter. For now. I have a feeling that will change by the time the regular season starts.
Watson is a winner and a leader and those are two of the most important qualities any starting NFL quarterback can have.
I believe Watson has the maturity as well as the weapons around him, along with a great defense to take pressure off of him and help him be successful at the next level.
