Last week, Foster had eight carries for six yards, with his longest run being four yards as he battles problems with his hamstring.
He missed Week 3 against the New York GIants, but the first two weeks of the season, the Texans benefited from a healthy Foster. He had two 100-yard plus rushing games, including Week 1 against the Washington Redskins for 103 yards, and Week 2 against the Oakland Raiders for 138 yards and one touchdown.
I’ve said it all season, and I’ll continue to say it … the Texans need Foster to stay healthy for their offense to have a chance to win games.
It is that simple.
Last week was the exception, but this offense is more crisp and better overall when Foster is on the field and being productive.
