Houston Texans preseason dates and times released

The NFL has released the dates and times for the 2014 NFL preseason, as the Houston Texans open the preseason on the road.
The Texans begin their preseason slate on Saturday, Aug. 9 as they will travel to take on the Arizona Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. CT.
That will be followed with a home game on Saturday, Aug. 16 when they host the Atlanta Falcons at 7 p.m. CT.
On Saturday, Aug. 23, week three of the preseason will see the Texans face the reigning AFC champion, Denver Broncos at 8 p.m. CT (in Denver) in what is usually the dress rehearsal of the preseason.

The final preseason game will take place on Thursday, Aug. 28 when the Texans host the San Francisco 49ers at 7 p.m. CT.

Houston is coming off a regular season in 2013 where they were 2-14 overall, as they lost to Cardinals, Broncos and 49ers.
The Texans hold the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, which is on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN and the NFL Network.
