The Houston Texans’ offense has found success using the tandem of Arian Foster and Ben Tate at running back. Both Foster and Tate are finding ways spark the Texans’ offense when they are given the opportunity. Foster is obviously the starter, but Tate is finding ways to make electrifying plays when he is given the opportunity.

I like what Gary Kubiak and the Texans are doing with the running back position. By splitting the carries between two backs, neither running back will be worn out at the end of the season.

This week, the Texans will face the super bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Both Foster and Tate should be able to find success running the ball against Baltimore’s defense, especially since they lost most of their key defenders from last season. Look for the Texans to run the ball often so they can keep the ball away from the Ravens’ high potent offense. I’m expecting that Foster and Tate are both going to have nice games this week.

On a side note, each week we are going to do a post where we ask for our fans to share their opinions. We will pick a topic about the upcoming week and ask that you offer your feedback. This is the first one, so let’s hear what your opinions are.

As always, keep following the Toro Times for all of your Houston Texans news and updates.
