2012 NFL Draft: Houston Texans Special
By Editorial Staff
The 2012 NFL Draft is still three months away but teams are already beginning to compile their “wish lists” of players they would like to add to their depth charts. Some of the picks that I have will come as no surprise while others will leave you thinking, “WHAT?”. These picks are all based on the needs of each team and the best players available – throwing the best player into a slot despite the fact that they are not needed is not prudent.
Take your time, take a look around and leave some feedback. Plus, while you are at it, check out Walterfootball.com, HailRedskins.com, DCProSportsReport.com and NFL Mocks.
I have added a little blurb about my pick for the Houston Texans. The Texans will be looking to strengthen the defensive line and wide-receiving corps, however, the need for a solid WR is the most glaring need. See who I picked for the Texans…
Andrew Luck – QB, Stanford
Justin Blackmon – WR, Oklahoma State
Matt Kalil – OT, USC
Michael Floyd – WR, Notre Dame
Mark Barron – S, Alabama
Robert Griffin III – QB, Baylor
Alshon Jefferey – WR, South Carolina
David DeCastro – OG, Stanford
