Mark Ingram will take the starting job away from David Johnson

For those who have been reading within the last week, you may have read the article detailing the main difference of why Mark Ingram II should be the starting running back for the Houston Texans.  After seeing David Johnson be one of the NFL’s biggest one-year wonders, it doesn’t take an eagle-eyed approach to see that Johnson just isn’t what he used to be.

If there’s anyone that could unseat Johnson even more, It’s former Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay. The former undrafted runner out of the University of Colorado has shown that he can be a physical runner- and that once he gets going downhill he is hard to stop.

Another thing that gets forgotten is that Johnson had 10 fumbles during his 5 seasons in Arizona, 5 during his breakout year of 2016. Johnson hasn’t fumbled in two years, but it may be something to watch for heading into this year.
