The Houston Texans draft strategy can add offensive linemen on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft.
When the Houston Texans draft enters the third day next Saturday, they will have four rounds to find depth for their roster, and as the saying goes, this is the day when championship rosters are built.
The Texans draft this season does have some needs for the offensive line, but mostly for depth purposes, though some interior spots on the offensive line need challengers to improve the overall product of the offensive line.
Those team needs can be filled on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft, and Houston can look to the later rounds to find some “diamonds in the rough,” so to speak, which would help ease some of the stress that has been this offseason.
Houston can use depth at all positions of the offensive line, and they have five picks available for Day 3 to really work on the offensive line, including one each in the fourth and fifth rounds and three picks scheduled for the seventh round.
Some might overlook the seventh round for the Texans draft, but there will be players who with the proper work and high-level coaching will become better overall players, but also will be a steal by being a late-round selection. Next are three offensive linemen whom the Texans’ draft can include next week.
