1. Tytus Howard

Hopefully tonight in the preseason opener played at Lambeau Field all of us will get a good glimpse of the No. 23 overall selection of the 2019 NFL Draft, Tytus Howard.

This week Howard went viral with a clip of his play in an offensive line drill against the Green Packers, showcasing his strength as he tossed a 250 pound man like he was a feather. If that is the player the Texans see in games — preseason or regular season — maybe they knew what they were doing all along in selecting the under-the-radar Howard back in April.

There is pressure on Howard to perform at a high level at an accelerated pace for the fact he was not only the first round pick this past year, but the Texans need all the help they can get in rebuilding their offensive line from a season ago which didn’t play at a high enough level.

If Howard gets a substantial amount of playing time in the preseason opener for the Texans, it won’t be the only way he is evaluated, but it will be another step taken in seeing just exactly what he can bring to the table for the Texans this upcoming seasons and beyond.
