"The Houston Texans have several positions on the roster that need to be reinforced."

Like the other 31 teams in the NFL, the Houston Texans need to add depth on several positions on their depth chart. Certain groups like the secondary and wide receivers have been struck with injuries that have kept this team from budding and continue to grow as a unit.

Other positions like running back, quarterback and the offensive line really didn’t have any deep depth to start with in the first place.

These roster limitations alongside with sluggish start to the regular season have prevented the team from having a winning record in the NFL in 2018. Several weeks ago the Texans were one of the worst teams in the NFL according to their win-loss column.

Prior to the start of this season, the last victory the Texans had in the regular season was last November when the Texans faced the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11. Teams build habits when they win or lose, the coaching and roster composition of the team has a lot to do with the success of the franchise.

If the team has solid players capable to fill in for the role of the starter for a brief extended period of time, the team can continue to move in the right direction despite the issues that might present themselves in the short term.

The Texans will have to improve their roster if they expect to continue to keep winning and take advantage of the fact that they finally have a franchise quarterback in Deshaun Watson.
