Round 4, 17th Pick: John Miller, G

Picking a guard is never a sexy pick but it continues to prove to be a wise one. John Miller is a player that excels in pure power and his ability to use his hands to protect the pocket.

What’s most unique about him is that scouts believe he has the potential to prove to be a better player on the professional stage than he was in college.

Selecting a promising guard in the fourth round sounds like a major win to me, especially when you have running back Arian Foster in the backfield and the Texans are looking to exploit the red zone this year considerably more than they did last year.
