Colin Kaepernick, Quarterback, 49ers
I know this is an obvious choice because he’s the focal point of the 49ers’ offense, but hear me out. The third-year quarterback isn’t having the season he may have hoped this far, but to say anything really negative about Kaepernick is not all that smart.

He helped lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl last season, and so what he has five touchdown passes and four interceptions entering this game, he’s still a quality quarterback in the NFL.

He’s going to face a tough test in the Texans’ defense tonight, but he still has great ability. In the past three games, Kaepernick has been sacked eight times, including six times in weeks two and three combined.

My thoughts are as the season goes the 49ers’ quarterback will be fine, but tonight will be interesting to see how he plays against the Texans.
