After struggling mightily on offense in a road loss last week, the Houston Texans finally look to have found some rhythm against Detroit as they are up 14-3 at the half

The Houston Texans are a different team at home than they are on the road. Last week against the Denver Broncos they couldn’t get anything going right.

It got so bad that fans were starting Go Fund Me accounts to get quarterback Brock Osweiler’s contract money back so the team could move on from him.

This week some things look much better. Houston’s offense has started out in sync as they were able to get into the end zone twice in the second quarter.

The first score was a touchdown pass from Osweiler to tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz. The second was a one-yard run by running back Lamar Miller.

That touchdown was set up by a beautiful connection between Brock and receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Osweiler did however end the half by getting picked off. The interceptions have been a terrible problem for Osweiler as this is the seventh game in which he has thrown an interception in eight games played.

That poor pass was a forced throw on third down and led to the only points of the game for Detroit. Quarterback Matthew Stafford connected on a long pass to their tight end Eric Ebron following the turnover which set them up for a 47-yard field goal.

After two quarters Osweiler has completed 14-of-21 passes for 127 yards and a score. Lamar Miller has just 14 yards on seven carries with the one touchdown. He still doesn’t look fully healthy, but is giving it all he has.
