With the start of the 2014 NFL season on the way it also means those who like to wager a little money on the NFL will be either making a little money for themselves, and making the folks in Las Vegas some money as well.
In any case here are some odds of the Texans for the 2014 season.
Note: The odds are courtesy of Bovada, (www.Bovada.lv, Twitter: @BovadaLV). The Super Bowl odds for today before the first set of games before the pre-season.
• Odds to win Super Bowl XLIX: 66/1
• Odds to win the AFC Conference: 28/1
• Odds to win the 2014 AFC South: 3/1
The rest of the AFC South odds are:
• Odds to win the AFC Conference:
Indianapolis Colts: 6/1, Tennessee Titans: 40/1, Jacksonville Jaguars: 100/1
• Odds to win the AFC South:
Indianapolis Colts: 1/2, Tennessee Titans: 7/1, Jacksonville Jaguars: 14/1
• Odds to win Super Bowl XLIX:
Indianapolis Colts: 14/1, Tennessee Titans: 100/1, Jacksonville Jaguars: 250/1
It is safe to say there isn’t much optimism for the Texans and the AFC South when it comes to winning the Super Bowl with the best odds being the Colts. But besides the Colts the odds aren’t even close to being positive for the Texans, Titans or the Jaguars.
Who can blame the Vegas oddsmakers, I wouldn’t have great odds for any of these teams, including the Colts to win the Super Bowl or even the AFC Championship.
What are your thoughts on the Texans’ odds to win the Super Bowl or even the AFC South?
